What is FITS?

FITS (Framework for ICT Technical Support) is the international standard (SQA) specifically designed to help schools manage their ICT. FITS was specifically developed for schools by BECTA (UK), by highly customising the international corporate and government standard ITIL.

FITS provides a structured framework and set of guiding principles on how to manage ICT implementations, day-to-day operations and performance, and technical support.

FITS is specifically targeted at school leadership and ICT managers. FITS provides school leadership with the essential tools for managing their ICT from a business perspective, not technical.

There are two FITS training courses, Practitioner and Advanced.


Practitioner is a 2 day course and includes:
